Getting started is straightforward. Here’s what the process looks like from initial enquiry to your first regular visit:
We visit your garden, walk around with you (or on our own if you prefer), and understand what you want from the service. We give you a clear regular rate before anything starts.
We agree visit frequency — weekly, fortnightly or monthly — and set a regular day and time that works for you. Most customers don’t need to be home.
If the garden needs bringing up to standard before we start the regular plan, we’ll discuss a first-visit tidy-up so subsequent visits are maintenance rather than catch-up.
We arrive on schedule, carry out the agreed work, adapt to what the garden needs that day, and leave everything tidy. We let you know we’ve been if you’d like that.
If we spot something that needs attention – a hedge due a cut, a plant that’s struggling, a drainage issue – we flag it before it becomes a bigger problem.

Weekly visits
Best for larger gardens, fast-growing lawns, or anyone who wants the garden looking its best at all times. Weekly visits through spring and summer mean nothing gets a chance to get ahead of us. Many customers on weekly plans adjust to fortnightly from October through to March.
Fortnightly visits
The most popular choice for most residential gardens in Surrey. Fortnightly visits keep the lawn, borders and hedges consistently maintained without over-attending a garden that doesn’t need constant work. Works well for average-sized gardens throughout the main growing season.
Monthly visits
Best suited to smaller gardens, low-maintenance spaces, or as a winter schedule when growth has slowed significantly. Monthly visits keep things presentable and allow us to spot anything that needs attention before it becomes a larger job. A common arrangement is monthly in winter, stepping up to fortnightly in spring and summer.

Is there a minimum contract length?
No. We don’t ask you to sign up for a fixed term or commit to a minimum number of visits. We work flexibly — you stay on the plan because the service is working for you, not because you’re locked in. We ask for reasonable notice (typically one visit’s worth) if you want to pause or stop, so we can plan our schedules.
What if I want to pause visits over winter?
That’s completely fine. Many customers reduce their frequency or pause visits over the winter months when the garden doesn’t need as much attention. Just let us know what you’d like and we’ll adjust the schedule. We’ll check back in with you in early spring to confirm when you’d like to restart.
Do I need to be home when you visit?
No. The majority of our regular customers aren’t home during visits. As long as we have access to the garden, we’ll carry out the agreed work and leave everything tidy. We can send you a quick message to confirm we’ve been if you’d like that.
What's included in the regular rate - are there any extra charges?
The rate we agree covers all the tasks in your regular plan, including removal of cuttings and green waste. We don’t add surprise charges on top. If something extra comes up — a particularly heavy clearance, or a task outside the normal scope — we’ll discuss it with you and agree a price before doing anything additional.
How quickly can you start?
It depends on availability in your area, but we typically aim to get new regular maintenance customers started within one to two weeks of the initial quote visit. Get in touch and we’ll give you a realistic start date.
