QUOTATIONS
Acceptance of the Proposal means that the Client has read and understood the terms and conditions below. Any queries or removals of certain items should be clarified and approved before the job requirements and associated costs are agreed and the Project have begun.
Any concerns or additional issues after the Project have been completed should be sent to Southern Garden Maintenance within 7 days of completion of the Project.
DEPOSITS & PAYMENTS
For landscaping projects, a 20% deposit is required to secure the suggested Project Start Date for the Project to begin. This deposit will go towards requiring the necessary materials needed.
Payments should be made to Southern Garden Maintenance by bank transfer or cash. Southern Garden Maintenance does not accept cheque or credit cards.
CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
Southern Garden Maintenance ask that the Client ensures there is sufficient access to the work site and that gates and/or passageways are clear. Failure to do so will result in delays in the Project taking place.
Additionally, the Client should make sure that all pet faeces be clear from the work site. If the project cannot be carried out due to these circumstances, the team will have to leave the site and you may still be charged.
Southern Garden Maintenance cannot accept any liability for any undercover issues unless those seen previously from the initial site inspection.
The Client will need to inform us these obstructions or hazards, which include the following:
· pipes and cables
· drains
· foundations
· and sub-structures of former buildings.
SOUTHERN GARDEN MAINTENANCE RESPONSBILITIES
Southern Garden Maintenance will execute the Project at a high professional level. We will aim to complete the Project according to the proposed schedule.
We will source and provide all materials, machinery and tools unless agreed otherwise with the Client prior to the Project Start Date.
Southern Garden Maintenance holds full Public Liability Insurance. This can be viewed upon request.
LANDSCAPING/ LIVING MATTER
Southern Garden Maintenance cannot accept liability for any imperfections to the Project caused by summer drought, water deprivation, landslides, tree root damage, and severe weather conditions. Southern Garden Maintenance does not accept responsibility for any damage or deterioration of the living plant material once the Project is complete. It is the Clients’ responsibility to take care of their grass, plants, trees, and newly planted shrubs/trees. This includes watering, feeding, treating, and looking after the plants regularly to ensure their health and growth.
If the client is on a maintenance package with Southern Garden Maintenance, will discuss with the client about the plants to be cared for.
Furthermore, we will not be liable for any chemical treatment given post-Project where the effect is not deemed successful from the Clients perspective. However, we will make every effort to provide alternative solutions at the client's own cost.
During the proposal phase, if plant material specified in the Contract is unavailable the Contractor will provide the Client with suitable alternatives. The Client has the choice whether to accept the alternative plant material.
In case plant material specified during the proposal phase is unavailable, Southern Garden Maintenance will provide the client with appropriate alternatives. The client will then have the choice whether to accept the alternative plant material.
DELAYS OR DISRUPTION
Southern Garden Maintenance will replace / repair any accidental damage caused to the Client’s property or materials during the Project.
Southern Garden Maintenance will aim to complete the Project within the specified schedule discussed during the Proposal phrase.
Southern Garden Maintenance accepts no responsibility due to any delays from uncontrollable events such as supplier delivery delays or adverse weather conditions (such as extreme rain, excessive heat or drought in the summer months and snow/ frost in the winter months). If these disruptions do occur, we will aim to inform the Client as soon as possible and where necessary, reschedule the Project at the earliest convenience.
AFTER CARE / SNAGGING ISSUES
Southern Garden Maintenance offers a 14-day period for the Client to inform us of any snagging issues once the Project is completed. After this period, we will do our utmost to resolve the Clients concerns however we are not bound to carry out any further work.
The snagging issues does not include the maintenance or deterioration of the living material as stated in the Living Materials section.
